SCOTT contributes to Esteban Chaves foundation FUN with a donation from the sales of his special edition Addict RC frame set.

Scott  is one of the most prestigious bike brand in the world and  in 2019, they launched an Addict RC Edition Frame Set FUN special edition. Its design represents our philosophy and for each set sold, 200 Euros were going to be donate to the Esteban Chaves Foundation FUN. 262 frame sets of the special edition were sold in 13 countries and today, we are excited to announce that because of  Scott’s and all the buyers generosity, the foundation will receive a donation of the 52,400 Euros.

These resources will contribute to our mission of Multiplicando Sonrisas (multiplying smiles)  through our two areas of action, Sports and Health. Our sport area focuses on the development of young bike riders and the health area we organized a yearly crowdfunding campaign to operate and change the lives of children in Colombia. Because of the surgeries, many of them are capable to walk. Our partner in this project is the Fundación Cardioinfantil.

«I am very grateful with SCOTT for believing in me and my dreams, both in and out of cycling. They have provided me with the best equipment since I arrived at the World Tour and have also been supporting us in FUN, for example with this generous donation», says Esteban Chaves.

Janosch Wintermantel is the Marketing Director of Road & Triathlon at SCOTT Sports. For him, «Esteban is one of the most admirable riders in the cycling world. His smile and positive attitude inspire us and highlights in an often-superficial world of professional sports. I had the opportunity to visit him last year in Colombia and see how much energy and passion they put in the foundation. It was an easy decision for us to help you as much as possible to contribute to that project».

Thanks to Scott and all the people who contribute to keep Multiplicando Sonrisas!!
